An ignition system only uses the amount of voltage it needs to fire a plug.Usually thats around 8-12,000 Volts.Those 40-50,000 volt coils might be needed when you add a turbo,or supercharger,or extreme high compression ratio,but as long as the system is fresh (plugs,wires,cap,rotor) any extra voltage is not needed nor will it fire at 40,000V continuous.A chrome coil might look nice,but it will do nothing to make a tractor come alive or go faster/get better mileage.
I find that an electronic/Pertronix igntion module works better than anything else,by eliminating those lousy points that wear out all the time,and make the engine misfire/hard to start.
