Cub rear wheel spaceing worth the work or not.

Well I gave in and purchased a 1958 Cub so that I had something with a sickle bar. Used it first time this Sunday. My land is a not all that flat and I found the Cub to be a little tippy.I plan to put new tires on the back right away, do you all think spaceing the tires/wheels all the way out is worth the effort or not?
