The block will warp but unless ya got a true stright edge and the sleeves out it is real hard to tell . Don't worry about the block and tell the machinest to only take what is needed to clean it up , don't get or let someone talk ya into millen .020 or more off because you will have more problems then you can think of somewhere around .007 to .015 is enough . Do like i told ya before get a 1/2 -13 bottoming tap and chase all the bolt holes to the bottom clean the threads , wash out the holes with either or brake clean and blow dry lube the bolts and washers use some guide studes to align the head as you set it on the gskt use copper coat toqure in a three step pull down ( 45 ft. lbs .-75 ft. lbs. 95 ft. lbs. then go back over again then set valves start tractor warm up to operating temp use a victor gskt. re toqure after hot reset valves put the valve cover on and run it. Done deal.
