I accidentally posted my reply further down on this queston so here goes again. H's and M's are not high crop or high clear tractors. The HV and MV are the high clear versions of these tractors. They were mostly used in the South. They are used for all types of operations in sugar cane farming. They are used to mount bean pickers. They are also used as sprayers in row crops. The cotton picker M can also be considered a high clear tractor when mounted on its' bull gears. The smaller high clear tractors such as the AV were used in certain truck farming vegetable crop production. Row crop tractors such as the H or M were the standard for everything in row crop production in the South. Utility tractors were scarce and were mainly for utility type work such as mowing, grading, backhoeloader work, or large gardens. Harold H
