My cataloog says that they all use the same kit so you don't have a problem with finding the right kit. As far as the number you posted up one post I don't see that number any where for a farmall but who knows it could be one off a number of other tractors and the person that had the A before you could have had it jusy laying around and slaped it on just to get by
