Hi Paul, many years ago when we had a 300U, the indication of a clogged inlet filter screen was slow lifting and a howling in the hydraulic system. Eventually if it became to clogged the hydraulic would howl all the time and the hydraulic pipes from the pump would get hot. The 2 pt hitch should lift both rear wheels off the ground very easily.
