Actually both tractors are suffering from the same thing. It just affected them differently. The problem is rust, crud, and varnish in the fuel system. With the A, a tiny speck of rust has become lodged in the needle valve and seat in the carburetor, and the needle valve cannot shut off the flow of gas. The remedy is to take the carb apart and clean the needle valve. With the M, there is so much crud that it has just about totally blocked the flow of gas. Start by cleaning the sediment bowl located under the tank, there is also a fine screen filter in the inlet of the carb. If you still don't have a good flow, Drain the tank, completely remove the sediment bowl assembly from the tank and clean it thoroughly. Also, use a flashlight or something and take a real good look into the fuel tank itself, might scare you when you see what's in there.
