No,In order to put in a later style you would also have to change the counter shaft in the transmission.There was three different styles of pto's in the H. The first was from serial no. 501 to45613. The next one was from 45614 to 117999 and the third was from 118000 and up.The early ones just notched into a grove on the back of the counter shaft. The next two were engaged by sliding on splines on the back of the counter shaft. You can get an adapter that will change the pto from 1 1/8 to 1 3/8.
