The 706's with the D-310 German motor in it were the later years models. Iffen you own one you are one lucky dog, the D-310 motor is like the bunny on TV, it just keeps on going and going, i have a 686 farmall with the D-310 in it and I love it it has over 15 thousand hours on it and runs like a top, Yhe earlier 706_D's had the d-282 in them.
