There is a check valve in the fitting on the line that goes into the brake control valve but all that does is hold oil in the valve when the engine is off and will littel or no effect while running . Unless ya got a service manual or and I T manual it is hard to understand and it would take up a lot of band wideth for me to walk ya thru everything . First ya need a pressure gauges that will read 600 lbs. a liquide filled prefered a JIC fitting to go into the bottom plug of the MCV and hook up to the gauge . then ya need atleast 200+ lbs on the MCV i like 265-285 , i use (2) gauges but then ya need the special test tool for the dump valve but you can get and idea of what you have with one. I would bet that your problem is in the MCV on the flow devider from a weak spring or sticky valve. It is not common that the brake vavle is the problem . Sometimes this is caused by the adjusters getting stuck on one side and you have to force the brake to stop only on half or you could have a brake seal leaking or a piston O/Ring seeping and allowen oil on the brake this will also give about the same resualts . Like i said before i need a lear jet to run around and fix all the had problems for you guys cause i can fix them just about as fast as i type.
