To get at the oil pump on a Cub you would need to pull the engine. This problem has appeared on here before with the Cub engine loosing its prime. 1. Remove the allen head screw at the back left side of engine block and add oil. 2. Remove oil filter cap and fill housing and replace the top. Just crank the engine over until you are showing oil pressure on your gauge. Once you have oil pressure indicated on your gauge it's probably safe to start the engine. This problem occurs with the Cubs when the oil is changed too. The oil must somehow drains from the pump creating this problem. Hal
