Farmall 200 pulls the green back to the barn

Me and my Father in law were out bush hogging today. He was on the old rusty 200 Farmall and I was on my nice looking JD 2440 and after 4 hours of cutting the old rust bucket has a strap hooked to the 2440 pulling her back to the barn. Imagine that. Should have been on my H or M and maybe that wouldnt have happened. I posted my problem on the JD web site. Some of you fellows might be able to help with the problem, yall might own a green one too.
