If it where me I'd fill all the cylinders with tranny fluid before I even tried to turn it over, let it sit a day or 2 then and only then would I try to turn it over. The tranny fluid will help loosen the rings if they are stuck and also keep if from haveing a dry start up. I'd also change the engine oil before trying to do a start up because there will probably be water in the oil.
