The WR-9S did not have the bigger engine. As previously stated it had the same 4.4 x 4.5 334.5 cu in gas engine as the W-9/WR-9 which is why they did not call it a Super. However, it did have : the disc brakes, increased radiator capacity, and beefed up transmission and differential of the Super WD-9 and Super WDR-9 which is why they added the S to the model. I recon it was about 1/2 super. Just for a point of information, the 600 and 650 gas tractors did have the 4.5 bore giving them 350 cubic inches.
