There's a specific path that the oil has to flow to make things work right. Obviously, you've changed or blocked that path. Tell us how it was configured before. If your 2 point hitch valve was beside the priority/safety valve, I don't think you could just slide another one in there. I think you may need to put the new one up front and link them together with a TEE and tubing. That's the way my 3 valve setup is. ALSO - Be SURE you pull the front cover off that priority/safety valve, find the filter screen and clean or replace it. I wasn't able to find it (and nobody could tell me where it was at the time), and messed up my whole system bad!
