That is the pressurized cap -- it may or may not fit your radiator. If your old one just sets in the opening and you can't really tighten it, your old cap is wrong and you have the correct radiator. I bought an early C with the domed cap a couple of months ago. Didn't pay much attention to it, just assumed the radiator was non-pressurized; the cap blew off in transit. Found out I had a pressurized radiator with the wrong cap -- so it does happen.
