yes the parts are interchangeble from the SMD to the 450D. Our SMD has a 450D crank and the Pump, injectors,and head are the same the 450D head may have more compression than the SMD,the gas engine doas any way. The 450D block is a D281 and the SMD is a D264, the 450D slevees and pistons will fit the SMD block as well. MCcred
