Ok I will try to explain further. Again, the magneto has a wire run to it from a coil turning it into a distributor. When I get to TDC on #1, the mark on the little gear is at 2 o'clock. I then put the rotor on, pointing the potruding end in the same direction (2 o'clock). There is a little ridge on the rotor on the opposite end from the potruding end and it points to 8 o'clock. Do I have it aligned right? Thanks, WOD
