I have a 72 inch on a good running C. If the grass gets too far ahead of me it is all it wants. Having said that, although a B and a C have the same engine, low gear in a B would be a slower ground speed than a C due to difference in tire size, so that would help. Also, I recently read that tread size on your B can be adjusted as narrow as 64 inches by switching rims around etc. Hope this helps.
