The best books for finding the applications of the generators are the following IH manuals:

TC29A - Delco Remy Electrical Equip for IH tractors & etc. This manual covers all delco parts used until 1943

TC45A - Delco Remy Electrical Equipment. This manual covers from 1943 to 1952.

TPM2 - Tractor Parts Merchandiser. These cover anywhere from the 1940s to the 60s or 70s (depends
on the edition you have)
