Back when I was a kid growing up on the farm, the next door neighbors had an early 1947 Cub sitting in a shed. It was a summer cottage, used mostly on weekends. Even though I saw that Cub run maybe once, it fascinated the heck out of me. Even though I wasn"t supposed to, I would sneak over there, stare in the shed window and wonder what it would be like to drive it. Sometime about 10-12 years ago, the place was sold and the Cub hauled away with all its implements. Lately I"ve been wondering what happened to it when it occurred to me that maybe someone here might"ve picked it up. This Cub was located in Western NY, the North Java area to be specific. You may recall the roof of the shed being partially caved in, and a large brown metal equipment shed on the opposite side of a barbed wire fence. There were many implements with the Cub. I remember a plow, a sickle bar mower, cultivators, a drag, maybe even a belly mower. The tractor had to have been an early "47; it had the circle decals on the hood doglegs, and a hand lift. Yes, it could"ve been repainted, but I doubt it. I"m mostly wondering where it is, though if it"s for sale, I"d think long and hard... Thanks!
