In the late sixties it was a big thing to drive tractors to school for the homecoming parade, etc. One year, a friend of mine borrowed a neighbor's five bottom, sixteen inch steerable Deere plow to pull behind his dad's 3010 Diesel trycycle front end tractor with no front end weights. The friend got cocky, decided he was going to show off and pull a "wheelie". When he did, the light front on that 3010 went way in the air and dumped off a couple of kids riding on the fenders and luckily the tractor did not go all the way over and the two that fell off avoided the plow and were only slightly injured. That could have been a real bad one, too. My friend and I are both 51 years old today, and he still avoids talking about that incident when it is brought up. Shook him up pretty bad.
