The closest tractor that fits the description would be a 2544, which was a utility/industrial version of a 544 farmall. They had a D-239 German diesel, 5 forward/1 reverse with no TA. They were built in the late 60s-early 70s. Going from memory, I believe the 2544 would have a swept back front axle, instead of a straight one. Serial # plates on industrial tractors were on the RH side of the clutch housing(farmall tractors were on LH side) right behind the engine. Hope this helps.
