Kevin - This is VERY common in hot, humid weather. It's caused by the refrigerating effect of gasoline droplets evaporating in the low pressure airstream after (above) the throttle plate. When the surrounding throttle body gets cooled to below the dew point, condensation forms.

While not a problem when the weather is hot, it can be a real problem in cooler weather! Condensation occurring on the inside of the carburetor will freeze. The resulting ice can block off carb passages causing poor running or stalling until enough heat soaks down from the hot exhaust manifold to melt the ice.
