If the fuel is comming from the bottom of the carb look for anything that threads in to the bowel itself. Usually you can seal threads with a small amount of pipe joint compound. If the Carb is overfilling and you suspect the needle and seat remove the bowel and check the seat for condition and any foreign material. You may want to inspect the bowl gasket carefully it can leak out fuel by splashing. Also carb floats a lot of the time are made of brass and they can sink. To check, shake and listen for fuel in them. Also dry them with a clean dry cloth and look for fuel "bleeding" out of seams or anywhere on the floats. If you still haven't found anything Maybe it a good idea to replace the needle and seat and recheck float level.
