Congrat's on your decision to keep your 300 6 volts! Regarding 6 volt batteries, buy the highest CCA rating you can physically fit into the box. I got one for my Super H for $32 at Sam's club a couple years ago. Don't recall the dimensions but it just fit into the box, and it was rated at 550 CCA.
