There's been several postings on here with Cubs.
When the oil and filter has been changed, the oil pump appears to lose its prime.

Are you sure the gauge is indicating correctly?
I would install a calibrated gauge to see what the
pressure is.

Here is what someone recommended & posted when
this happens.

1. Remove allen head screw at the back left side
of the engine block and add oil.

2. Remove oil filter cap & fill the housing with
and replace the top. Hal
