any gasoline head will work but you will see a small decrease in horse power. Not a big issue on a show tractor. The propane head has a smaller combustion chamber to raise compression ratio. A high altitude 5000 or 8000 ft gas head would be comparable. Just don't put a kerosene head on and expect it to be very satisfactory.
