OK, if it's true confession time, a while back I got an itch for one of those hand clutch things. Well I scratched it and have really enjoyed using the left hand to make the tractor go/stop/creep. I can see why people who like green enjoy using them. But I was really lucky I got a Farmall M from Rob with an M &W hand clutch so I didn't actually have to buy a jd. My nickel Dick Davis

Tractor Profile: Farmall M - by Staff. H so that mountable implements were interchaneable. The Farmall M was most popular with large-acreage row-crop farmers. It was powered by either a high-compression gas engine or a distillate version with lower compression. Options included the Lift-All hydraulic system, a belt pulley, PTO, rubber tires, starter, lights and a swinging drawbar. It could be ordered in the high-crop, wide-front or tricycle configurations.
