Milan: I have received about 10 caps from Navistar, in 4 separate orders since Case and IH became CaseIH. This as CNKS said was never a CaseIH program, the liability on this matter was never included in the buy out. Navistar is the company responsible for any liability to this day. I received my first caps from IH probably 40 years ago, and yes even since the merger many dealers still will do the exchange for you. In the beginning IH dealers had an allotment for all elegable tractors each had sold new. It only ever included letter series or newer. Since that initial supply ther has never been an inventory on these at IH or later Navistar. After the orders reach a certain number they manufacture and ship. I would expect these orders become fewer each year, thus as time passes the wait time will become longer. By the way my son got a couple of these as recently as one year ago.
