Allan: Turn right, it doesn't matter whether it's 45, 90 or 180 degrees. I've mowed 30 acres and never lifted the platform. Probably only done that couple dozen times, but it did happen more than once. With that 686, just use TA on turns as well as mowing through pre cut hay. New Holland wrote the best manuals on the market in the 60's and 70's. Their trouble shooting section was unequaled by anyone. It was a very good part of the reason why their hay machines worked so well.
