June 25, 2005 and we just finished changing oil & filters on the "Swenson Family Collection" getting ready for the show season. This picture was taken at the LRPTA show grounds. The 1937 John Deere was my grandfather"s first & only ractor; he traded my aunt"s horse in as partial payment! The 1940 H & loader are used for maintenance on the LRPTA threshing grounds at Dalton, MN. The 1951 Super C has a Fast-Hitch sickle mower and helps with grounds maintenance. I just took it home to mow road ditches where I live in Fergus Falls, MN. My grandson Michael"s 1949 Farmall C is about 2/3s restored & will be ready for the International Harvester featured show this fall. Granddaughter Mariah, grandson Michael & son Mark (aka:Eastsider) are posing for me.
