You might try some Kroil penetrating oil. This stuff really works wonders.Look up The toll free number and tell them your location to see where the nearset dristributor is to you. Cost me 9.95 a spray can here in Alaska. Way cheaper than ordering it. I have no idea what effect a frozen heat control lever would have. I'm sure it was put on for a purpose. I have a 1938 F12 that is stuck also. Have not tried to free it yet.
