Hi Allan, Why don't you use that plow and see if the soil will scour it for you. Any sandy soil should make it nice and shiny. That was another chore when on the farm was to oil or grease those plow shares, moldboards and landslides. I guess that's why mine is still shiny after 69 years. Hal
