Yes, definitely, unless you are in the market for a broken arm or a complete set of dentures. I set mine at the halfway point and it starts with ease. Though in truth that only came about after a magneto rebuild. It solved many problems and while it was perhaps the item I agonized the most turning over to the big boys, it was in fact some of the most rewarding and worthwhile money I spent on my entire tractor project.
