Chris, I"ve put a jug 50:1 for a 2.5 gal can in my 1947 H for years. Don"t know if its right or wrong but she always ran good up until this summer and now she burned a valve but I don"t believe its from the oil. At my work we sell a lead substitute additive and thats what I use in my 1956 400 can"t tell much difference. David
