You will most likely need to take the shifter straight up and out there are two little caps under the bell that you need to get out and then a pin that you push out thats under them once you get the shifter out of the way you take a big screwdriver and you need to move the rails all even into nutrel position. If you look with a light you will see. They get stuck in to two gears becuase of the bottom of the shifter gets worn down the fix would be a new shifter or someone rewelding the ball back up on it.
