Yes, the '48C crank is tapped with a 1/2" coarse thread. Waiting for UPS to deliver a puller to get the pilot bushing out before getting the crank ground. Always wanted one and will need it to get a bunch of the other oil seals and bushings removed as well. Been cleaning and painting miscellaneous parts in the meantime. Rebuilt the magneto and generator. Working on the governor now. I need to post a picture of the governor innards sometime to ask a question. Putting the engine together will be the easy part. It's things like the axle seals, brake seals and tranny shaft oil seal and bearing that will probably give trouble. Haven't started to take them apart yet. The transmission shaft has about .05" play side-to-side and up and down, so the bearing is probably shot. The tranny is sitting all by itself looking very lonely! Then there's that honey-dew list...
