Like Kb said up grade to the 291 over bore kit , they make a special kit to take a 263 out to 291 but you still need to bore the block . this kit has a wide flange to fit in the upper counter bore because the 263 has a wide flange and the stock 291 has a small flange . I have done up several and if done correctly you will be in the mid 80's on horse power . Now keep in mind that to do the job wright you also have to recurve the dist and also go up on carb jet size . I go a couple steps past as i change the ventura to the 1 1/8 806 . The last one peaks out at over 97 .
