Hi JD, not sure what part you are trying to describe. Is it lever that is connected to the clutch release fork shaft on the outside of the torque tube that is connected to the clutch adjusting rod? I think on my brother's 454 that lever is welded onto the end of the clutch fork release shaft. I have the I&T shop service manual for 684 which has same torque tube as 454. The picture is not very clear but to remove the clutch fork release shaft: The tractor has to be split, release bearing removed and 2 roll pins driven out of the release forks to allow the clutch fork release shaft to slide out of torque tube.
