While rewiring my FAA, I have located different variations and hope for some insight. One version was once posted here by 'Old Red' showing his photographed schematic. It shows the Field on the generator to the F on the vr, AND another connection from the Field on the generator back to the ammeter. The lights come off of the Load terminal on the vr. Then a connection from generator 'A' to vr 'Bat'. In contrast is the schematic host by Bob Melville [http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/ViewPhoto?u= 4001561&a=30065733&p=60246204] that is quite different. Is the Bob M schematic for a cut-out application only and not a voltage regulator? Is there a schematic around for a 6V pos-ground system with a vr? Thank you.
