Regardless of what IH did, your tractor will look better if disassembled and the parts painted separately. It makes little sense to me to reinstall everything then paint, as you will not get proper coverage. I would leave the radiator core black, and paint the tanks, radiator frame and fan red -- only my opinion. Paint the shroud separately also. You will scratch your new radiator paint when you reinstall the grille, though, unless you are extremely careful. My goal is to make it look better than it came from the factory. Not hard to do, as IH was not known for their paint jobs.
