I just acquired a 1951 Farmall Cub for my brother out in MT. It came with a Woods mower, but the previous owner had never had it on because he put a back blade on it instead. Well, I have a couple weeks before my brother shows up to claim his Cub and I told him I would get the mower mounted for him (and tested weekly on our lawn of course...). My problem is figuring out how this thing mounts in the rear, and if I have the correct brackets to do so. I found an owner's manual online (I think it's a Woods 59-C mower) but it is very vague on how to bolt the rear of the mower to the tractor, and the one illustration not clear at all. I posted a photo of the tractor in the photo gallery, and hopefully the image of the underside of the tractor and the mower bracket will appear here if I did it right, otherwise that is posted in the implement gallery. The previous owner hooked up a rear blade to the rear lift so I know that will need to be removed, but I am not sure if I have the right attachment points/brackets on the tractor itself. Any help or pictures of other Cub/Mower mounts would be helpful. Thanks!
