Hugh, I get your drift. Thats kind of what I was thinking too. Most of the 706D's I looked at were plumb wore out and they wanted $6000 for them too.
This one the drive train is in pretty decent shape. So will eventually put a Diesle in it.
So far I really like it. Concidering I purchased the owners manual for a 706 2 years ago. I guess it was fate for me to have one.
I have a lead on a fast hitch for her now. Dont have the cash yet but gota have a goal.
Put the bale spear on it this eve, just to see how it looks.
