You need to pull No1 plug near the radiator and hold your thumb over the plug hole. Have someone crank over the engine by hand until you feel compression. When you feel compression against your thumb stop cranking when you reach the first notch on the damper pulley. Your No1 piston is then at TDC. Then check to see where your rotor is pointing, should be at No1 plug wire in the cap. Then use the procedure that the others suggested on checking the impulse tripping. Hal
