What everyone said above is right on. Although around my area "Southern Indiana" if you plan to pull it in any Antique Classes also you won't be able to. Around here in order to pull in a Antique Class you have to be within manufacturers specs. They check your RPM's when your done pulling or put you on a Dyno. But if you pull in Farm Stock classes 5,500- 7,000 you should do alright if your tractor is setup right. There are guys that pulls lot's of M's "probably 30" in this class around here so it is very competitive. Their is on man that has a M that he pull's in 4th gear and I haven't saw him run out of power in the 3 years he has had it built. He always spins the wheels and we have very good tracks. The guy that builds them also builds the tracks for the National Farm Machinery Show's Championship Tractor Pull in Louisville, KY. There are a lot of things you can do to a M to make it pull harder and better. Just remeber pulling don't take a deep pocket until you build or break something. Sorry so long Bill {Antique Acres}
