Ours did too, except every 4th or 5th bale came out of the baler in slabs, and when it happened you were guaranteed to have a chamber full of loose hay. Apparently this knotter adjustment thing is a skill only a select few have, because over the years we had all the local dealers send out their best baler guys to adjust the knotters, including Mr. If-he-can't-make-it-work-no-one-can. They couldn't make either of these balers work. The New Holland has been popping out solid bales 99.25% of the time ever since he got it, and it's only been adjusted once by one of the guys who couldn't make the IH balers work, so don't say it's us or how we were running the baler, or that ALL the mechanics were incompetent...
