I have an extra air intake cap, screen and flange from an F12 parts tractor and want to cannibalize it to make a high stack for the F12 I am restoring. Looks straightforward to insert a length of 2in pipe, weld it up and paint it along with the rest of the tractor. What is "regulation" height for one of these things. I thought I would make it as high as the muffler, which is 20in. But, since the muffler isn't origninal, maybe I need some advice. Would one of y'all measure an original for me?
