I believe you may be right about the dimensions being the same but don"t know for sure. As far as the the D-310 goes, that is the same German diesel used in the 756. I believe the later 706"s that used the D-310 were slightly longer overall to accomodate that engine. Perhaps someone out there can either confirm or refute that...? Thanks, Tom
