Thanks, I'll check that again, but I think I was pretty careful about that. I even took the little round cover off the back end of the butterfly shaft so I could watch the linkage work. I could even move the governor rocker arm by twisting the little brass dodad on the end of the carburetor throttle shaft. I like your idea though, because I hope it may be something simple that I am overlooking.
